Celeste Roney, 77, of Bethlehem, died peacefully on September 3, 2025 surrounded by her children. Born in Detroit, MI she was the daughter of the late Charles and Maureen (Cunningham) Roney. Celeste was a member of Notre Dame of Bethlehem Catholic Church and found much solace and grounding in her faith. She spent many years working for the Youthful You Program of the Lehigh Valley Health Network where she answered phones, scheduled massages, made lifelong friends and greeted everyone with warmth and kindness. She also spent her working days in advertising at WJBR in Detroit, as an aerobics instructor for the Jewish Community Center of Allentown and as a friendly, but no-nonsense bus driver for Northwestern Lehigh School District.

Irene Emily (Kerecz) Recor, 98, of Bethlehem, passed away Wednesday, April 16, 2025. She was the loving wife of the late Oscar M. Recor. Born in Bethlehem, she was the daughter of the late Kalman and Amelia (Szukics) Kerecz. Irene retired from Burron Medical Supply. She was a member of Saints Simon and Jude Catholic Church and their auxiliary. Irene loved celebrating her Yugoslavian heritage. She was very artistic and enjoyed making and teaching ceramics. Irene was a phenomenal cook, gardener and seamstress. She loved to travel, dance, was extremely social, full of energy and enthusiasm. She had a zest for life and loved everyone. She will be deeply missed.
Deborah A. (Bergeris) Reinert, 67, of Bethlehem, passed away March 12, 2025. She was the loving wife of 49 years to Charles L. Reinert. Born in Bethlehem, she was the daughter of the late John and Gladys (Rice) Bergeris. She was a member of the former St. Matthews Lutheran Church and currently The Blessed Trinity at Rosemont. Deborah enjoyed reading and spending time with her family. She will be deeply missed.
Cecilia (Sanchez) Rivera, 82, of Bethlehem, passed away August 31, 2024. She was the loving wife of the late Miguel Rivera. Born in Puerto Rico, she was the daughter of the late Manuel N. and Maria F. (Colon) Sanchez. She has worked as a sewing machine operator for many years before her retirement. Cecila was a member of Holy Infancy Catholic Church and Saints Simon and Jude Catholic Church. She will be deeply missed.
Gisella A. Rhodes (Stella) of Bethlehem passed away February 13, 2024. She is preceded in death by her husband William Rhodes and Son Timothy Rhodes. Survivors are daughters Terri Rhodes, Rita Nairns (Jack), Daughter in Law Diane Rhodes, Sons James Rhodes (Tina), Robert Rhodes (Jack). Grandchildren are Michael Nairns (Faith), Angela Nairns, James Rhodes (Tara),Jennifer Fauntleroy (Alex), Arin Doerfler (Thomas), Lauren Rhodes Stella also had eight Great-grandchildren. Services will be held February 24th at Notre Dame of Bethlehem Catholic Church 1861 Catasauqua Rd Bethlehem, PA 18018 with a viewing at 9AM and a Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 10:00AM. Burial will be at Our Lady of Hungary Cemetery Northampton.
Carolyn J. (West) Rego, 74, of Bethlehem, passed away September 6, 2022. Born in Baltimore, MD she was the daughter of the late Silas and Caroline (Corbin) West. Carolyn was a graduate of Liberty High School and earned her degree in Medical Billing from Northampton County Community College. She worked as a seamstress for many years, Administrator at Dun & Bradstreet and then Lost River Caverns gift shop before her retirement. Carolyn enjoyed doing different arts and crafts including plastic canvas and crocheting and jewelry making. She will be deeply missed.
Candelario “Kenny” Rosado, 77, of Bethlehem, passed away April 7, 2021. He was the loving husband to Maria E. (Valcarcel) Rosado. Born in Puerto Rico, he was the son of the late Enrique and Isidra (Morales) Rosado. Kenny enjoyed reading, watching tv and collecting items. He will be deeply missed.
