William “Bill” Amato, 71, of Allentown, passed away on September 8, 2024. Born October 20, 1952 in Newark, NJ, he was the son of the late Samuel and Irene (Burdi) Amato.

Peter H. Archond, 77, of Saylorsburg, passed away December 1, 2021. Born in Bethlehem, he was the son of the late Lucy (Vola) and Peter H. Archond Sr. He retired from the Saylorsburg School district as a janitor. He will be deeply missed.
Geraldine D. (Jacoby) Ace, 86, of Allentown, passed away May 9, 2020. She was the loving wife of the late William Ace. Born in Bethlehem, she was the daughter of the late Eugene and Susan (Matuczinski) Jacoby. She retired from A1 Answering Service after many years of service as a phone operator.
Katarzyna (Kochan) Abolik, 87, of Allentown, passed away January 19, 2020. Born in Lesko, Poland she was the daughter of the late Jan and Anna (Sawka) Kochan. She attended Saints Simon and Jude Catholic Church and the Cathedral of St. Catherine of Sienna Catholic Church. She was a talented artist and seamstress. Her hands were like “magic” making clothing and crafts for everyone. Katarzyna loved nature and had an infectious smile. Her greatest joy in life was being a devoted mother and grandmother.
David J. Alimossy, 67, of Hazelton, passed away April 26, 2018. He was the son of the late Frank and Doris (Metoskie) Alimossy. David served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War and the Gulf War, and was a retired member of the Pennsylvania Army National Guard.
Joanne M. Andraschko, of Bethlehem, passed away on July 12th at the age of 76. She was born in Bethlehem to the late Henry and Sadie Andraschko. She is survived by her sister, Carol Andraschko and her cousin Danny Ponoski. She was a lifelong member of Saints Simon and Jude Catholic Church. She attended Liberty High School and worked for a short time at Bethlehem’s Brew Works as kitchen help, before caring for both parents at home in their later years. She was a loving sister to Carol, with whom she lived her entire life. Joanne enjoyed sewing as well as cheering for her favorite baseball team, the Philadelphia Phillies.
