Richard J. Klingborg, 90, of Bethlehem passed peacefully on Thursday, July 28, 2016 at his home. He was the loving husband of Sterna M. (Reinhard) Klingborg. They celebrated 61 years of marriage on November 21, 2015. Born in Allentown on March 18, 1926, he was the son of the late John and Edythe (Strohl) Klingborg. Richard was a 1943 graduate of Allentown High School and attended Muhlenburg College. He served in the United States Navy on board the U.S.S. Emoree AO69 in the Pacific Theatre during WWII. Richard worked as office manager at Consolidated Freightways in Allentown for 34 years before retiring in 1987. He was a member of St. John’s UCC in Allentown. Richard was a member of VFW Post 2124 in Allentown and American Legion Post 367 in Whitehall. Richard was a long time fire arms safety instructor for PAL. He enjoyed hunting and fishing with his sons for many years. He was also a life member of the NRA. Richard had a love of music and was proud to have been named the first president of Dieruff High School Instrumental Music Club in Allentown from 1971 to 1977.
Along with his loving wife Sterna, he is survived by his four sons: Keith and wife Cindy of Duboistown, Pennsylvania; Kevin and wife Beth of Bethlehem, Pennsylvania; Kerry and wife Judy of Birmingham, Alabama; Rev. Kenneth of Wake Forest, North Carolina. There are also six grandchildren: Casey Klingborg and wife Katie; Kyle Klingborg and wife Amanda; Dr. Paige Klingborg M.D.; Noah Klingborg; Katrina Schaeffer and husband Zachery; Kimberly Fisher and husband Cody. Also surviving are five great-grandchildren: Xavier, Allison, Jordan, Ellanore, Aeriana. Also surviving is his brother Roger Klingborg of Slatington and twelve nieces and nephews. Predeceased by sister Emma Kolowitz and first wife Dorothy (Wetherhold) Klingborg in 1951, and daughter-in-law, C. Susan Klingborg.
A visitation will be held Thursday, Aug 4th 9-10AM with a memorial service at 10AM in Downing Funeral Home, 1002 W. Broad St, Bethlehem, PA 18018. Interment will follow at Cedar Hill Memorial Park Cemetery in Allentown.

Thomas Kerr II
Thomas R. Kerr II, 55, of Bethlehem, passed away Wednesday, July 27, 2016. He was the loving husband of 23 years to Janice M. (Rehn) Kerr. Born in Gloucester, MA he was the son of Thomas R. Kerr and the late Harriet (Hoffman) Kerr. Tom worked in sales and purchasing for Reeb Millwork in Bethlehem, for over 30 years.
Survivors: Wife- Janice M. Kerr; Daughter- Amy R Kerr at home; Father- Thomas R. and wife Laura S. Kerr of Bethlehem, PA; Siblings- John and wife Victoria Kerr of Jamestown, RI and Bellevue, WA, Scott and wife Teena Kerr of Lower Saucon, PA, Karin Kerr of Bellevue, WA.
A calling time will be held Monday, August 1st 4-6PM with a Memorial Service at 6PM in Downing Funeral Home, Inc. 1002 W. Broad St. Bethlehem, PA 18018.

Charles R. Korpics, Jr.
Charles R. Korpics, Jr. 57, of Whitehall, passed away July 20, 2016. He is survived by his fiancé Tammy Thomas. Born in Bethlehem, he was the son of Mary (Schaffer) and Charles R. Korpics, Sr. Charles graduated from Liberty High School in 1976 and received a Bachelor in Business degree from Bloomsburg University. He worked for 30 years as a rural carrier for the U.S. Postal Service. Charles loved his family and his dogs.

Miriam Krizan
Miriam G. (Carney) Krizan, 93, of Bethlehem, passed away April 3, 2016. She was the loving wife of the late Frank Krizan. Born in Kintnersville, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Katherine (Kresch) Carney. She was a member of Notre Dame of Bethlehem Catholic Church.

Daughter- Carol Brensinger of Bethlehem; Son- Kenneth Krizan and wife Debra of Whitehall; Grandchildren- Laurie Marie Campbell, Melissa Ann Wimer, David Wimer; Great Grandchildren- Rebecca Campbell, Zachary Wimer, Brendan Campbell; Numerous Nephews and Nieces. She was predeceased by her brothers- Carl and John Carney and sister- Marjorie Eichlin.

Ursula E. Kennedy
Ursula Kennedy passed away on March 20, 2016 in Providence, Rhode Island after a long and fulfilling life, more than 70 years of which were spent in Bethlehem, PA. Born in 1920 to Fountain Hill’s Michael O’Reilly and Mary Jane Lane, and sister to Mary (Petfield) and Elizabeth (Briody), Ursula attended St. Ursula’s Parish and School, Becahi and Chestnut Hill College. She married Floyd D. Kennedy in 1943 and bore two sons, Floyd Jr. (Ken) of Virginia Beach, VA and Michael of Providence, RI. They lived in West Hempstead, NY, from 1945 through 1963. On return to Bethlehem, they joined Assumption BVM parish. Floyd and Ursula separated in 1977. Ursula volunteered at St. Luke’s Hospital and the Bethlehem Public Library, played golf and bowled, but above all loved being with family, including Mike’s Emma and Lucas, Ken and Lynn’s Chris and Lindsay, along with their spouses and two daughters, and Ursula’s niece and nephews and their families.

Edward J. Kirk, 81, died Dec. 24, 2015. He was the loving husband of 52 years to Joyce (Weidman) Kirk. Eddie served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War and retired from Bethlehem Steel.
Survivors: Wife; Children- Marion Keenan, Andrew Brown, Leonard Brown, Jean Prewitt, Joan Holecz and Joseph Kirk; 7 Grandchildren; 8 Great Grandchildren. He was predeceased by his son- Michael Kirk and 4 siblings.

Agnes L. (Mingora) Krajczar, 91, of Bethlehem, passed away February 1, 2015. She was the loving wife to the late William J. Krajczar. Born in Bethlehem, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Agnes (Fistner) Mingora. Agnes retired as a Knitter from Sure Fit after 25 years of service. She was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church.

Franklin Koehler
Franklin “Frank” D. Koehler, 80, of Hanover Twp., passed away Nov. 10, 2013 after a long illness. He was the loving husband of Rosemary Anfuso- Koehler. Born in Bethlehem, he was the son of the late Melvin and Blanche (Ritter) Koehler. Frank was an avid horseman showing and breeding horses for over 65 years. He was the owner and operator of Koehler Stables. Frank was a lifetime member of the Penn Jersey Horse Show Assoc. and the American Quarter Horse Assoc.
