Robert T. Hayes, Sr., 80, of Bethlehem and currently residing in Phoebe Home, passed away Sunday, February 5, 2012. He was the loving husband of 55 years to Catherine M. (Murphy) Hayes. Born in Detroit, he was the son of the late Francis and Estella (Quinn) Hayes. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He graduated from Lafayette College in 1963. Robert worked for 20 years in the research dept. for Bethlehem Steel and then worked for the IRS and retired in 1997. He was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church. He was also a member of Catholic Charities and served as a Chairman for many years. Robert was a Scout Master for the Boy Scouts Minsi Trail Council, a Little League Coach and was active with Cursillo.

Jessica A. (Zellner) Holecz, 88, of Palmerton, passed away Friday, February 3, 2012. She was the wife of the late Charles Holecz, Sr. Born in Lehighton, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Minnie (Schmidt) Zellner. She was a member of First United Church of Christ in Palmerton.

Walter Hottle
Walter “Bud” R. Hottle, Jr., 76, of Bethlehem, passed away Monday, December 05, 2011. He was a loving husband to Mary Ann (Slahta) Hottle for 53 years this December 20th. Born in Bethlehem, he was the son of the late Alma and Walter R. Hottle, Sr. Bud was a 1953 graduate of Bethlehem VoTec and served in the U.S. Navy for 4 years. He worked as a mail carrier for the U.S. Postal Service for 28 years until his retirement in 1990. Bud enjoyed walking around the Westside of Bethlehem handing out biscuits to the local dogs. He also enjoyed spending his retirement time at the cabin in the Promised Land State Park.

Helen M. Fedick Hirner, 88, of West Lehighton, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 13, 2019 at Lehigh Valley Hospital Cedar Crest. She was the wife of the late Lloyd George Hirner Sr.
Born in Corydon, PA, Helen was a daughter to Frank and Violet Clark Fedick
Helen enjoyed cooking, especially spaghetti which was a family favorite, and taking care of her home. Her family was her life and she dedicated her life to her family.
Helen is survived by her children; Mary Hirner Lindeman with spouse, Kenneth, Jenny Hirner Schnettler with spouse Constance, Frank with spouse, Michelle, Lloyd with spouse, Dee and George with spouse, Kerry. She is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, Helen is preceded in death by her daughter, Patricia Hirner.
