Francis “Frank” X. Holahan, 85, of Fountain Hill, passed away Tuesday, July 3, 2012. He was the husband of the late Wanda A. (Golab) Holahan. Born in Branch Dale, he was the son of the late Joseph and Gertrude (Ganly) Holahan. He was retired from Bethlehem Steel’s combustion lab after 34 years of service. Frank was a member of St. Ursula Catholic Church and the Holy Name Society.

Harriet H. Huber
Harriet H. Huber, 89, of Easton, passed away Thursday. Born in Flemington, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Edwin and Anna (Frantz) Huber. Harriet was of the Catholic faith. She was a graduate of Bethlehem Business School and worked for Bethlehem Steel and Villanova University. Harriet loved to read, have long conversations and doing her “writings”. She was predeceased by 1 brother and 5 sisters and her very good friend Dolores DeFabio. Survivors: Nieces, Nephews and Friends. Services: Graveside Tuesday at 2PM in Union Cemetery in Hellertown. Elizabeth J. (Gehman) Huber, 79, of Hellertown, passed away Sunday, May 06, 2012. Born in Center Valley, she was the daughter of the late Russell and Marie (Kneiss) Gehman. Elizabeth was a member of St. Theresa of the Child Jesus Catholic Church, Hellertown. She retired in 1994 from Lehigh University.

Donna M. Hawk
Donna M. (Brush) Hawk, 64, of Bethlehem, passed away Tuesday, April 17, 2012. She was the loving wife of 44 years to William J. Hawk, Jr. Born in Fountain Hill, she was the daughter of the late Jack and Mary (Lynn) Brush. Donna worked for 10 years at Redners Market as a produce clerk and previously as a restaurant manager at McCrorys in the Westgate Mall for 17 years. She was a devoted member of Notre Dame of Bethlehem Catholic Church. Donna was very dedicated to her family, especially to her three boys and grandchildren.

Robert T. Hayes, Sr.
Robert T. Hayes, Sr., 80, of Bethlehem and currently residing in Phoebe Home, passed away Sunday, February 5, 2012. He was the loving husband of 55 years to Catherine M. (Murphy) Hayes. Born in Detroit, he was the son of the late Francis and Estella (Quinn) Hayes. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He graduated from Lafayette College in 1963. Robert worked for 20 years in the research dept. for Bethlehem Steel and then worked for the IRS and retired in 1997. He was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church. He was also a member of Catholic Charities and served as a Chairman for many years. Robert was a Scout Master for the Boy Scouts Minsi Trail Council, a Little League Coach and was active with Cursillo.

Walter Hottle
Walter “Bud” R. Hottle, Jr., 76, of Bethlehem, passed away Monday, December 05, 2011. He was a loving husband to Mary Ann (Slahta) Hottle for 53 years this December 20th. Born in Bethlehem, he was the son of the late Alma and Walter R. Hottle, Sr. Bud was a 1953 graduate of Bethlehem VoTec and served in the U.S. Navy for 4 years. He worked as a mail carrier for the U.S. Postal Service for 28 years until his retirement in 1990. Bud enjoyed walking around the Westside of Bethlehem handing out biscuits to the local dogs. He also enjoyed spending his retirement time at the cabin in the Promised Land State Park.
