Frank “Cowboy” R. Guzzo, 91, of Bethlehem, passed away December 25, 2012. He was the loving husband of the late Ruth J. (Archond) Guzzo. Born in Bethlehem, he was the son of the late Antonio and Maria (Santos) Guzzo. Frank served in the U.S. Navy during WWII. Frank was a member of the Bethlehem Catholic High School Booster Club in the late 60’s and early 70’s. He worked for Bethlehem Steel and then owned and operated F & G Autosales. Frank was a member of St. Anne’s Catholic Church and the Heights AA. He was involved in the Bethlehem Halloween Parade Committee.

Betty C. Geppert
Betty C. (Stocker) Kichline Geppert, 80, of Bethlehem, passed away Monday, December 17, 2012.She was the loving wife of the late Joseph A. Geppert.Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Earl A. and Mary E. (Borger) Stocker.Betty previously worked for Bell Telephone, the Easter Seals and Vast. She also worked as a teacher’s aide with children with learning disabilities in Moore Elementary School for many years. She was a member of Salem UCC in Moorestown for most of her life while residing at the family farm. She was a member of Christ UCC in Schoenersville.Betty was the secretary for Boy Scouts of America Troop 50 for 15 years Betty also had a passion for baking cooking and sewing

Elizabeth Guman
Elizabeth “Betty” (Gabler) Guman, 78, of Bethlehem, passed away Wednesday, August 29, 2012 in her home. She was the loving wife of the late Donald S. Guman with whom she shared 48 wonderful years. Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Marie (Sopper) Gabler. Betty graduated from Allentown Central Catholic in 1952 and from Sacred Heart School of Nursing in 1955. She retired after 25 years of service from Lehigh Valley Pediatrics. Betty was a member of Notre Dame of Bethlehem Catholic Church where she was a dedicated volunteer for over 50 years. She was also a founding member of the Silver Creek Country Club and a member of the Red Hat Society. Betty was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother whose greatest joy was derived from supporting her grandchildren in all their endeavors.

Ruth J. (Archond) Guzzo, 87, of Bethlehem, passed away Monday, February 13, 2012. She was the loving wife of Frank R. Guzzo for 65 years. Born in Bethlehem, she was the daughter of the late Peter and Lucy (Vola) Archond. She was a member of St. Anne’s Catholic Church. Ruth played in an accordion band when she was younger. She was an artist and enjoyed oil painting.

John Gemi
John J. Gemi, Jr. 84 of Bethlehem passed away Thursday, December 22, 2011 in St. Luke’s Hospital, Fountain Hill.
He was the husband of the late Nona E. (Hackenberg) Gemi.
He was born on October 28, 1927 in Lansdale, PA to the late John J. and Filomena (Ipolito) Gemi.
John served in the U.S. Army.
He retired from Lucent Technologies where he was a machinist.
John was a member of Notre Dame of Bethlehem Catholic Church, founder of Bethlehem Steelers Knee High Football, baseball coach for Northwest Little League, volunteer for Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg, volunteer for operation Santa Claus and he enjoyed dancing and playing the harmonica.

Daughters, Kathleen Moyer and husband Dennis of Saylorsburg, PA and Elizabeth Spaeder of Mechanicsburg, PA.
Siblings, Angeline, Rose and Robert.

J. Kenneth “Kenny” Grube, 92, of Bethlehem, passed away Sunday, September 11, 2011. He was the loving husband of the late Margaret E. (Drew) Grube. Born in Bethlehem, he was the son of the late John F. and Elizabeth (Transue) Grube. Kenny graduated with an Associates Degree from Lehigh Business School. He served in the U.S. Navy during WWII. He retired from Bethlehem Steel’s Safety and Workmen’s Compensation Office after over 40 years of service. Kenny was a member of Ss. Simon and Jude Catholic Church. He was also associated with Bethlehem Catholic High School where he was an avid fan and loyal supporter for 47 years.
