Josephine Grynaviski, 64, of Sneads Ferry, NC passed away April 11, 2016. Josie was a loving wife and dedicated mother, as well as a devout Catholic. Daughter of Ann (Bove) and Michael Murphy Jr., she was born and raised in Bethlehem, PA where she graduated from Liberty High School in 1969 and later attended Bethlehem Business School. She later moved to Emmaus, PA where she and her husband, Chet, raised their 2 children. She retired from East Penn School District as an Aide with Macungie School. She subsequently moved to Sneads Ferry, NC with her husband. Josie retired from the City of Jacksonville in 2014. She succumbed to leukemia on April 11, 2016.
Survivors: Husband- Chet Grynoviski; Son- Christopher and wife Jackie Grynaviski; Daughter- Andrea (Grynoviski) and husband Justin King; Grandson- Brody King; Brother- Michael Murphy III and wife Robin Murphy.
A viewing will be held on Monday 9:30-10:30AM with Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 10:30AM in Saints Simon and Jude Catholic Church 730 W. Broad St. Bethlehem, PA 18018. Burial to follow in Nisky Hill Cemetery, Bethlehem. Arrangements entrusted to Downing Funeral Home, Inc.

Daniel Guth
Daniel Guth, 59, of Allentown, passed away peacefully January 27, 2016. He was the son of the late Joann (Herman) and William J. Guth Sr. He loved his children, devil dogs, and the Dallas Cowboys. He was often the loudest person in the room especially if he was laughing. He was a wonderful story teller and was chock full of useless information as he loved reading about history. He was easy to talk to and would often strike up a conversation wherever he would go. His good spirit will be remembered.
Survivors: Children- Michelle Boehm, Justin Guth and Stacey Ubiera; 7 Grandchildren; Brother- Bruce Guth; Sister- Diane Ensley; Many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother- Billy Guth.
Services: A private memorial service will be held at a later date for immediate family and friends.

Kathleen E. Guldeman
Kathleen E. (Evetushick) Guldeman, 60, of Bethlehem, passed away December 14, 2015. She was the loving wife of 39 years to Charles H. Guldeman III. Born in Coaldale, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Anna Marie (Mihalovic) Evetushick. Kathleen worked for many years at Bethlehem Steel. She was a member of Notre Dame of Bethlehem Catholic Church. She will be sadly missed by her entire family.

William "Billy" Guth Jr.
William “Billy” J. Guth Jr., 57, of Bethlehem, passed away Saturday, March 14, 2015. He was the loving husband of 30 years to Mary B. (Bender) Guth. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late William and Joann (Herman) Guth. Billy had retired as a Supervisor from City of Bethlehem Emergency Medical Services after 35 years of service. He was also a previous Bethlehem Twp. Paramedic, a Critical Incident Stress Management “CISM” Senior member, a CPR Instructor through the American Heart Assoc., on the Fire Crew at Nazareth Speedway and an Eagle Scout with Silver Palms. Billy was a volunteer for the Fountain Hill Emergency Squad for 20 years where he served as a past President. He was also on the Eastern PA EMS Council Board and a former Chairman of the Eastern PA EMS Conference. He was a lifelong member of Christ Church UCC, Bethlehem. Billy enjoyed NASCAR and boating with his family at their Pocono cabin.

Wife- Mary B. Guth; Daughter- Sarah E. Guth of Bethlehem; Brothers- Bruce Guth of Herndon, VA, Daniel Guth of Allentown; Sister- Diane Ensley of Bethlehem; Aunt- Louise DelVillaggio and numerous nieces, nephews, great nephews and many friends and colleagues.

Helen M. Gomboz
Helen M. (Zelena) Gomboz, 91, of Fountain Hill, passed away January 28, 2015. She was the loving wife of the late Louis S. Gomboz. Born in Northampton, she was the daughter of the late John and Sophie (Strivovsky) Zelena. Helen was a member of St. Ursula’s, the Women’s Guild, the Golden Hillers and a volunteer at Cedarbrook.

Children, Richard J. and wife Alice of Deland, FL, Betty Ann and husband Joseph Polaha of Johnson City, TN and Lisa and husband Mark Litak of Bethlehem. She was “Grammy Gomboz” to Jodi Jones, Jon Polaha, Jen Rimonneau, Chris Gomboz, Kim Gomboz and Morgan Litak. She was “Great-Grammy” to Bridger, Julian, Emily, Ryan, Calder and Andrew.
She was predeceased by her son, John M. Gomboz, and 12 siblings; Augustine, Edward, Emil, Rudolph, John, Francis, Michael, George, Catherine, Margaret, Anne and Betty.

Rosemary Gallagher
Rosemary T. Gallagher, 95, of Bethlehem, passed away Nov. 18, 2014 in Sacred Heart Senior Living. She was the loving wife of the late James T. Gallagher. Born in Bethlehem, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Mary (Boyle) Gallagher and the sister of the late John, Francis, the Rev. James, Bernard and his wife Peg. Rosemary was an Officer in the U.S. Navy Nurse Corp during WWII. She worked as a R.N. for St. Luke’s Hospital and then as a Private Duty Nurse until her retirement in 1980. Rosemary was a member of Ss Simon and Jude Catholic Church and their Senior Citizens Group. She was also an active member of the Holy Family Auxiliary and the Catholic Nurses Guild.
Survivors:
Children- Thomas and wife Rosemary of Palmer Twp, James and wife Bernadette of Chesterfield, VA, Kevin and wife Faye of Harleysville; 11 Grandchildren and 7 Great Grandchildren; Daughter-In- Law- Gayle Hall and husband Gary; Son-In-Law- Michael Boncoddo and wife Bridget. She was predeceased by her son- John and daughters- Anne Marie Boncoddo and Rosemary Thorton.

John Gorzelic
John G. Gorzelic, 88, of Bethlehem, passed away October 25, 2014 in Saucon Valley Manor, Hellertown. He was the loving husband of 64 years to Veronica D. (Snyder) Gorzelic. Born in Bethlehem, John was the son of the late Alexander and Mary (Janovak) Gorzelic. He served in the U.S. Navy during WWII in the Pacific Theatre. John retired from Bethlehem Steel after 41 years of service. He was a member of St. Ursula’s Catholic Church, Bethlehem.
Survivors: Wife- Veronica Gorzelic; Children- Margaret M. Herzog and husband Todd of Hansville, WA, Deborah A. Kohr and husband Robert of Hummelstown, John W. Gorzelic and wife Eileen of Salisbury Twp., Robert J. Gorzelic and partner Kelly Arndt Hunsicker of Schnecksville and James R. Gorzelic and wife Kim of Bethlehem; 7 Grandchildren and 6 Great Grandchildren; He was predeceased by 4 Brothers and 2 Sisters and a Grandson- Matthew Herzog.

Walter Greenawalt, Jr.
Walter J. Greenawalt, Jr. passed away Saturday, March 22, 2014 in the Lehigh Valley Inpatient Hospice at 17th & Chew Streets, Allentown. He was born June 5, 1958, the son of Dorothy K (Sabol) and Walter J. Greenawalt, Sr. Walt was currently employed as a route salesman for Keystone Automotive in Bethlehem for the past 20 years. He took after his father, Walter, Sr. as being a very friendly and sociable guy who could talk and get along with anyone. He loved going to the beach and was a huge sports fan especially baseball and football.
SURVIVORS: In addition to his parents, daughters, Heather S. Greenawalt of East Stroudsburg; and Kathy Fuller and her children Zackary and Raymond. Sisters; Roxanne V. Leibensperger and husband Mark of Walnutport, Robin D. Bangham and husband Jesse of Allentown. Nieces, Felicia Leibensperger and Melissa Schmidt and nephew Christopher Schmidt. Walt was predeceased by his brother, Terry S. Greenawalt in October, 2013.
SERVICES: A viewing will be held on Thursday, March 27, 2014 from 5-7pm followed by a service in the Downing Funeral Home, Inc. 1002 W. Broad Street, Bethlehem, PA 18018. Burial will be private.
