Wilbur J. Miltenberger, 85, of Allentown, passed away November 19, 2019. He was the loving husband of Madonna J. (McGee) Miltenberger. Born in Bethlehem, he was the son of the late James and Florence (Bartholomew) Miltenberger. He graduated from Bethlehem High School and served in the U.S. Army. He worked for Bethlehem Steel in Human Resources for over 30 years. Wilbur liked fishing as a child and participated in bowling leagues over the years. He loved playing cards and different competitive games with his family. After his retirement Wilbur worked at the Morning Call for over 10 years and then as a crossing guard for Allentown and Bethlehem.
Survivors: wife- Madonna Miltenberger; daughters- Heidi Beegle and husband Joseph Beegle, Lisa Moriarty and husband Paul Moriarty, Lana DiRocco and husband Robert Long; grandchildren- Hannah and Meghan; brothers- Richard Miltenberger and wife Wally, Marvin Miltenberger and wife Nancy. He was predeceased by his grandson- Charlie.
A Service will be held on Friday, November 22nd at 11AM in Downing Funeral Home, Inc. 1002 W. Broad St. Bethlehem, PA 18018. Burial to follow in Holy Saviour Cemetery.

Grace R. Metzger
Grace R. (McNally) Csordas Metzger, 99, of Fountain Hill, passed away peacefully in her home on August 6, 2019. She was the loving wife of the late Joseph R. Metzger. Born in Catasauqua, she was the daughter of the late William and Ellen (Tierney) McNally. Grace worked previously for Victalic Aircraft, St. Luke’s Hospital Central Services as a seamstress. She was a member of St. Ursula Catholic Church and their Women’s Guild and the Golden Hillers.
Survivors: sons- Richard Metzger and wife Karen of Fountain Hill, Thomas Metzger of Bethlehem; daughters- Mary Metzger of Fountain Hill, Ann Anderson and husband David of Red Lion, PA, Regina Briody and husband Attorney Bruce of Bethlehem, Jane Metzger of Fountain Hill; daughter-in-law- Kathleen Csordas of Florida; 12 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her daughter-Arlene Hassick, son- Joseph Csordas, daughter-in-law- Patricia Metzger, siblings- James McNally, Francis McNally, Kathleen McNally and Mary Cunningham.
A viewing will be held Saturday, August 10th 9-10AM with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10AM in St. Ursula Catholic Church 1300 Broadway Fountain Hill, PA 18015. Burial to follow in Holy Saviour Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to Downing Funeral Home, Inc.

Zoyla Morrow
Zoyla H. (Haubner) Morrow, 75, of Northampton, passed away peacefully in her home on May 14, 2019. She was the loving wife of 50 years to Dr. Gerald J. Morrow. Born in Glen Ridge, NJ she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Zoyla P. (Knust) Haubner. Zoyla enjoyed spending her time volunteering for various causes. She retired as a Registered Nurse for RX Homecare. Zoyla was a member of Notre Dame of Bethlehem Catholic Church. She enjoyed playing bridge and summering in Ocean City, NJ. She will be deeply missed.
Survivors: husband- Dr. Gerald J. Morrow; son- Dan and his wife Linda Morrow of King of Prussia; daughter- Jane Morrow of Albuquerque, NM; granddaughters- Meghan and Sophie; brothers- George Haubner of West Orange, NJ and John Haubner of Ladera Ranch, CA as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews.

Judith Mayer
Judith C. (Grimes) Mayer, 72, of Bethlehem, passed away September 16, 2018. She was the loving wife of 19 years to Stephen L. Mayer. Born in Stone Mountain, GA she was the daughter of the late John and Johanna (Hathaway) Grimes. Judith obtained her BA from the University of Massachusetts and her Masters Degree from Lehigh University. She retired as an editor from Lehigh University Press and participated in many of the University’s woman’s social groups. She also volunteered for the Bethlehem Public Library’s Book Sales. Judith enjoyed origami, reading, playing bridge and finding new recipes to cook and bake for her family, especially to celebrate their birthdays.
Survivors: husband- Stephen L. Mayer; son- William R. Mayer; 3 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son- Stephen Mayer Jr. and her 1st husband Dr. Allen Moran.
A viewing will be held on Friday, September 21st 12-1PM with a service at 1PM in Downing Funeral Home, Inc. 1002 W Broad St. Bethlehem, PA 18018.

Courtland Morris
Courtland P. Morris, 85, of Bethlehem and formerly Woodbury, NJ, passed away February 8, 2018. He was the loving husband of 63 years to Ruth (Cornog) Morris. Born in Camden, NJ, he was the son of the late Bernard Bradley and Mary (Carpenter) Morris. Courtland served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He graduated from Lehigh University with a BS in Mechanical Engineering. He was president and owner of BB Morris & Son in Woodbury. While in Woodbury, NJ he was a member and an Elder at Presbyterian Church at Woodbury, a member of the Greater Woodbury Jaycee’s, a JCI Senator, the Rotary Club, a former President of the Woodbury School Board and served on the Woodbury Board of Health. He was active in his neighborhood associations in Louisville, KY and Egypt, PA. Sports were a passion for Court and he was active in Men’s Senior Tennis and Ski Clubs. He will be deeply missed.
Survivors: wife- Ruth Morris; children- Leslie and husband John C. Keefe Jr. of Bethlehem, Bradley P. Morris and wife Tammy (Anderson) of St. Augustine, FL; grandchildren- Charles, Courtney, Kelsey, Kieran; sisters- Elizabeth Sharp of CO, Susan Selfidge of NJ.

Charles Muth
Charles W. Muth, 93, of Bethlehem, passed away December 31, 2017. He was the loving husband of the late Betty Mae (Schmoyer) Muth. Born in Fullerton, he was the son of the late Samuel A. and Lottie (Newhard) Muth. He served in the U.S. Army during WWII. Charles retired from Western Electric after 37 years of service. He was a member of St. Johns UCC in Fullerton, where he served as a choir member.
Survivors: son- David and wife Joan of Emmaus; grandchildren- Kelly Kowalewski and husband Travis, Ryan Muth and wife Kimberly; step great granddaughter- Ava. He was predeceased by his brothers- Alfred and Leonard Muth and sister- Kathleen Smith.
A viewing will be held Friday, January 5th 9-10AM with a Service to follow at 10AM all in Downing Funeral Home, Inc. 1002 W. Broad St. Bethlehem, PA 18018. Burial to follow in Cedar Hill Memorial Park.

Marianne Matuczinski
Marianne C. (Gerras) Matuczinski, 59, of Bethlehem, passed away November 11, 2017, after bravely fighting Multiple Sclerosis for 40 years. She was the loving wife of 32 years to Cazimir R. Matuczinski. Born in Reading, she was the daughter of Anne (Bell) Gerras and the late Charles S. Gerras. Marianne attended Southern Lehigh School District until 10th grade and then graduated in 1977 from St. Francis Academy. She worked as an Assistant Librarian for the Allentown Public Library for 24 years. She was a member of Saints Simon and Jude Catholic Church. Marianne enjoyed waking up with Mike and Alex, making a Deal with Wayne and Spinning a $1 with Drew. She also enjoyed watching NASCAR on tv, hunting, fishing and going to races with her husband. She will be deeply missed.
Survivors: husband- Caz Matuczinski; children- Cazimir S. Matuczinski and girlfriend Desiree Novasilech, Markus C. Matuczinski and fiancé Emily Torr, Marjorie A. Matuczinski and boyfriend Chris Krause; grandchildren- Gabriella Vuchko, Izaiah Reyes; brother- Steve Gerras and wife Ann; nephews- Joshua and Zachary Gerras; father and mother-in-law- Cazimir J and Barbara A. Matuczinski and granddog- Cooper.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 10AM in Saints Simon and Jude Catholic Church 730 W. Broad St. Bethlehem, PA 18018. Burial to follow in Holy Saviour Cemetery.

Frieda Miller
Frieda E. (Weiwoda) Miller, 91, of Bethlehem and formerly of New Jersey, passed away September 17, 2017. She was the loving wife of the late Oliver Miller. Born in Bayonne, NJ she was the daughter of the late Frieda Weiwoda. She retired as a bookkeeper for Miller Appliance in Hillsborough, NJ. Frieda was a member of the Neshanic Garden Club, the Lions Club and the Neshanic Library.
Survivors: Daughters- Frieda K. Miller, Sue Miller and wife Maggie Roth; Sister- Catherine DiLello; Nieces and Nephews.
