Michael G. Barbour Sr., 69, of Bethlehem, passed away January 24, 2022. He was the son of the late John and Madelyn (Hartigan) Barbour. Michael was the loving husband of 21 years to Carlene P. (Beahn) Barbour. He had worked for Bethlehem Steel, Walmart and then retired from Fisher Pharmaceutical. He will be deeply missed.
Survivors: wife- Carlene P. Barbour, son- Michael G. Barbour Jr., daughter- Patricia Barbour, step-children- Ann Kincaid, Gina Fizer, April Kulp and Danielle Beatty; 13 step-grandchildren and 2 great step-grandchildren. He was predeceased by a brother.
A Graveside service will be held on Friday, January 28th at 10AM in Cedar Hill Memorial Park 1700 Airport Rd. Allentown, PA 18018. Arrangements are entrusted to Downing Funeral Home, Inc.
Richard Breidenbach
Richard Breidenbach 88, of Bethlehem passed away peacefully on Sunday September 12, 2021 in his home. He was the loving husband to Bernice (Laible) Breidenbach who passed away in 2017. Born in Fountain Hill, Richard was a son of the late Ludwig and Naomi (Weil) Breidenbach. Richard proudly served his country in the United States Navy. He was a lifetime member of the Free Masons in Allentown. He was the golf course superintendent for 30 years at the Bethlehem Steel Club and then later worked at the Green Tree Nursery. Richard loved to build and fly radio control airplanes and was riding his motorcycle until age 78. Surviving is his son: Kenneth Breidenbach of Bethlehem. Brothers: Donald and Thomas Breidenbach. Sisters: Jane Fischer, Lucille Ratarsky, Jean Radford, Mary Ann Stahler, Linda Budzyn, Diane Garland and Ann Anthony. Grandson: Joshua Breidenbach. Richard was predeceased by his siblings: Charles, Paul and Robert Breidenbach, June Cope and Shirley Strokelitus. Yifeng Bai
Yifeng Bai 白移风,69, of Bethlehem, passed away April 29, 2021. He was the loving husband of 40 years to Sherry Q. Li 李群。Born in China, he was the son of the late Liancheng Bai 白连成 and Qi Liao 廖琪. Yifeng enjoyed fishing, shooting, cooking and tinkering around with electronics and fixing things. Above all Yifeng cherished his family, especially his grandchildren.
Survivors: wife- Sherry Li 李群, daughter- Yujing Xie 谢宇竞 and husband Jean Paul Melencio, grandchildren- Parker and Peyton Melencio, brother- Tiexi Bai 白铁西 and wife Baiming Zhang 张百鸣, sister- Haiyan Bai 白海燕 and husband Wei Ji 吉威, and mother-in-law- Xiuling Liu 刘秀玲.
A calling time will be held Saturday, May 8th 9:30-10AM with a Service at 10AM in Downing Funeral Home, Inc. 1002 W. Broad St. Bethlehem, PA 18018. Burial to follow in Cedar Hill Memorial Park.
Judith Becker
Judith “Judy” A. (Morris) Becker, 75, of Bethlehem Twp., Easton, passed away on February 4, 2021. She was the wife of the late John Becker who died in 2012, and was her high school sweetheart. Born in Bethlehem, December 20, 1945 she was the daughter of Marguerite and Thomas Morris. Judy graduated in 1963 from Liberty High School and then from Bethlehem Business School. She loved animals and was a parent to many dogs and cats throughout her life. Judy enjoyed reading and camping in the mountains with her family. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. After staying home to raise her children, she worked as a teacher assistant at Freedom High School, BASD for 20 years before retiring.
Survivors: sons- John Becker Jr. and wife Pam of Moorestown, Christopher Becker and wife Judy of Bethlehem Twp.; daughter- Amy Carr and husband Eric of Wind Gap; grandchildren- Dedrea Becker and Ariana Frantz; great grandchildren; beloved cat- Abby.
A viewing will be held on Thursday, February 11th 9:30-11AM with Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 11AM all in Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church 3219 Santee Rd Bethlehem, PA 18020. Katherine Bugger
Katherine “Kay” C. Bugger, 91, of Bethlehem, passed away January 14, 2021. She was the loving wife of the late William Bugger for 52 years. Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Anthony Hunt and Catherine (Ward) Hubert. Katherine retired from Lehigh University, where she worked in the faculty dining room. She was a member of Notre Dame of Bethlehem Catholic Church and their 55+ Club. In 1970, Katherine ran Operation Vietnam Project, gathering gifts and items for returning veterans at the Valley Forge Veteran Medical Center. She was recognized by the U.S. Army for her efforts and volunteerism. Katherine treasured her family and loved all family gatherings.
Survivors: children- William E. Bugger and wife Karen of Coopersburg, Denise Elliott and husband Stuart of Blandon, John P. Blair and girlfriend Donna Bartholomew Sacco of Allen Twp; grandchildren- Michelle Chrin, Jennifer Reed, Zachary Blair, Leroy Krause Jr., 2 great grandchildren- Morgan Krause and Sarah Krause. She was predeceased by her brothers- Edward J. and Thomas Hunt.

John Billman
John E. Billman, 91, of Allentown, passed away December 3, 2020. He was the loving husband to Dorothy A. (Correll) for over 60 years. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Claude and Eleanor (Young) Billman. He worked as a Service Technician for Sears & Roebuck. He was a Mason with Bethlehem Lodge. John enjoyed tinkering around with things, going for walks, fishing and camping with friends. One of his favorite past times was going to Grim’s Orchards to pick apples and strawberries with his daughter. He will be deeply missed.
Survivors: wife- Dorothy; children- Richard E. and wife Andrea of Phoenix, AZ, Lauri Moser and husband Jeffrey of Allentown, PA, Edward A. of Pensacola, FL; brother- James Billman of FL; sisters- Evelyn Lambert of MT, Nancy Klotz of PA; grandchildren- Christopher J. Billman of SC, Jessica Marie Billman of MA. He was predeceased by siblings- Claude, Betty, Donald and Thomas.

Karen K. Brassington, 58, of Bethlehem, passed away November 5, 2020. Born in Bethlehem, she was
the daughter of the late Philip Brassington and Donna (Phillips) Warner. She was a graduate of
Moravian Academy and Cedar Crest College. Karen was a member of Astara, which is based out of CA.
She enjoyed composing music, crafting and loved animals.
Survivors: sister- Jane Ferguson and husband Mark, 2 nephews.

Judith Bees
Judith L. (Engler) Bees, 79, of Bethlehem, passed away July 19, 2020 in her home after an extended period of poor health. She was the loving wife of Joel Bees, with whom she celebrated their 54th Anniversary in January. Born in Bethlehem, she was the daughter of the late Althea E. (Lutz) and Howard S. Engler, Jr. Judith was an Election Official for 8 years, including 4 years as a Judge of Elections. She was inducted into the PA Voters Hall of Fame, after voting in 50 consecutive General Elections. She was a part of Project Aware at NCACC, a Hoagie Chairperson for the Liberty High School Grenadier Band and a Board Member for the Chansonnette Theatre. Judith enjoyed socializing with her friends, was a fantastic cook and cared deeply for her family.
Survivors: husband- Joel Bees, son- Joshua Bees, daughter- Janice S. Bees, sister- Mary Beth and husband David Caskey of University Park, MD, 1st cousin and “sister”- Sue Ann (Snyder) Stralo, nieces and nephews around the U.S. She was predeceased by her sisters- Dale O’Leary and Carole Engler, and her brother- Howard Engler III.
